Ramboll Storvik signs deal with StatoilHydro, Subsea 7

Norwegian consulting and advisory company Ramboll Storvik AS has signed comprehensive frame agreements with StatoilHydro and Subsea 7. The deals could prepare the ground for assignments in the Shtokman project

Managing Director Rune Rautio says to BarentsObserver that the deals strengthen the leading position of Rambøll Storvik in Northwest Russia. From before, the company has long experiences within oil, gas, environment and infrastructure in the region.

The frame agreements will give Ramboll Storvik a role as service provider to the two companies in Russia. It is not excluded that the company also might get assignments in connection with the Shtokman project.

Ramboll Storvik is consulting and advisory group stationed in the Norwegian border town of Kirkenes on the border to Russia. Established in 1993, the company has expanded within the field of business development, risk management and project management, as well as advisory services all with Northwest Russia as the focus area.

StatoilHydro has more than 30 years of experience from the Norwegian continental shelf. The world’s largest operator in waters more than 100 metres deep. About 29,5000 employees in 40 countries

Subsea 7 is one of the world’s leading subsea engineering and construction companies. The company’s business is exclusively focussed on the niche ‘subsea’ sector, specifically Subsea field development and inspection, repair and maintenance.
