Reinertsen struggling in Murmansk

The Reinertsen Company had their biggest surplus ever on their annual accounts of 2009. However, their offshore yard in Murmansk ended up with a deficit of almost 2 million EUR in 2009.

Location

The Norwegian Company Reinertsen had an annual surplus of over 11 million EUR in 2009, and a total turnover of 375 million EUR. 50 percent of the company’s activity is connected to the oil and gas industry. The 2009 result is the company’s best ever. Reinertsen’s head of economy, Frode Johansen, says to Norwegian website bygg.no that their ambition is to have an even better result.

Reinertsen has had activity in Murmansk for several years now, but has yet not managed to boost the income from the offshore yard. The subsidiary company in Murmansk had a deficit of 2 million EUR in 2009. The Reinertsen Company is based in the Norwegian town of Trondheim, and is owned by the two brothers Erik and Torkild Reinertsen.
