The Swedish furniture chain says it want to open a mall in Oulu some time during the next ten years, reports 65 Degrees North. IKEA are now in talks with local authorities concerning a suitable location for the new mall.
Earlier this autumn, IKEA has announced plans to build new stores both in Umeå in northern Sweden and in Tromsø in northern Norway.

The first IKEA mall in the Barents Region opened in Haparanda in 2006 and soon got customers driving from Finnish Lapland, Troms and Finnmark in Norway, as well as from Murmansk and Karelia in Barents Russia.
