Shafig Amrakhov was shot with a softgun in the head at the entrance to his house in Murmansk on the eve on December 30 last year. He died in hospital on January 5.
Amrakhov was editor of the regional news website RIA 51.
We do not link the murder of Amrakhov to his journalist activity, because he did not write or edit anything himself. The issue is about the commercial relations of the victim, head of the Murmansk region criminal police Col. Pavel Karanda, said at a press-conference reports Interfax.
No charges have been brought in the case.
