The plan is to start the flights in November, says Nordavia’s leader of the sales and development department in the main office in Arkhangelsk, Valentina Sukhanova, writes russia-media.ru
When started, the route will be the fourth international route from Arkhangelsk and the second international route from Murmansk.
Armavia operates the flight Arkhangelsk - Yerevan, while airBaltic operates direct flights from Arkhangelsk to Riga. Nordavia has from before their flight to Tromsø in Northern Norway via Murmansk.
Nordavia operates four An-24 aircrafts. The propellers are all more than 35 years old. Until some few years ago, the same aircrafts operated the route Arkhangelsk-Murmansk-Rovaniemi-Luleå, but today, it is only the Arkhangelsk-Murmansk-Tromsø route that is operated with this old aircrafts by Nordavia.
